Pulse Check Data
Two times per year (end of MP1 and MP4), we ask all advisors and students to give feedback on their experience in Advisory through a "pulse check" survey. Once survey data is gathered, you will be able to find it here.
Closing the Loop Worksheet
This graphic organizer is designed to be used with students to support reflection on the Pulse Check data. You can use the document as is, or make a copy and add/edit as you like.
Beginning of the Year Tools
Community Circle Guidelines
These might be useful to establish as guidelines/norms for Advisory. Many of our students are already familiar with these from community building circles across the campus.

Feel free to copy/paste from this document, or make a copy to edit so your letter contains pertinent information for yourself and your advisory.

Social and Emotional Learning Resources
This folder contains resources and basic information about incorporating opportunities for social and emotional learning throughout the school day.
Engaging Schools Resources:
As we developed our Advisory plan in the Spring of 2016, we worked with a team of OUSD MS educators and a consultant from Engaging Schools. We have included resources from these workshops in both the Academic Support Resources and Community Building Resources links above. We also have a copy of these 4 DVD resources which provide examples of several aspects of Advisory we hope to incorporate within our structure this year. Please ask Shelley if you'd like to borrow a DVD.
